(JULY 25) BUD LIGHT PRESENTS REAL MEN OF GENIUS :

Monday (July 25, 2005), David Bickler, the golden-throat crooner who inspirationally sings Bud Light every "Real Men of Genius" song, and Pete Stacker, whose booming voice brings the award-winning radio spots to life will be at Minute Maid Park. The duo is recording some Astros-specific "Real Men of Genius" spots this week and will be performing live at Minute Maid Park prior to the game with the Phillies.

The Bud Light "Real Men of Genius" radio spots first hit the radio airwaves in 2000 with "Mr. Bowling Shoe Giver Outer" and since then, more than 130 creative spots have been recorded. Based in St. Louis, Anheuser-Busch is the leading American brewer holding 50 percent of the U.S. beer market. The company is American-owned and brews the world's largest-selling beers, Budweiser and Bud Light.

 

(Note: This is the only Astros game I have been to this year, and the only night they performed this. It was meant to be.)
